What actions a Creativity Squad takes on?
A Creativity Squad organizes gatherings to network with people from different backgrounds. It also runs workshops that use methods from facilitation of learning, drama, improvisation, self-development, arts and design to help learners to think more openly. A squad is fully autonomous and decides itself what actions to undertake.
The main concept that we are developing is:
How this got started?
It started as an idea of a picnic during the summer 2016. Then, we worked with the School of Creativity and Design, SC&D. The SC&D gathered together a voluntary group of passionate learners who wanted to spread the creativity and other working-life (soft-skills) around the world. The Creativity Squads name was established at the beginning of 2017. We have seen the potential and we want take this community to a next level.
How does the event organizing actually work?
We offer certain action instructions for Creativity Squads, but the squads can use any actions they find useful. After you have joined to Creativity Squads, you get access to our method base. There you can find ready-made workshop/course templates and method instructions that you can run at your place (school, university, community, organisation).
Our current members will come and help you to organise your first Creativity Squads event 🙂
Currently we are working on a workbook for Creative Self-Leadership. That will become our baseline in the future.
Furthermore, the Creativity Squads supplies email templates to contact different parties (companies, universities, learners etc.), and any other help a squad would need for.
We are also developing a concept to work with companies. We want for the Creativity Squads to be able to work in co-operation with local companies, students and entrepreneurship communities.
We are all learners fostering soft-skills
What does it cost to be a Creativity Squad member?
It does not cost anything.
